The scholarship consists of $8,000 toward tuition for the school year, managed by a school mentor. Scholarship is eligible for annual renewal.

Award Eligibility Criteria:

• Foster Child expected to be within 15 miles of the school for the school year
• Entering 1st – 6th Grade
• Meet admission criteria of the school
• Good academic standing

Preferred Criteria:

• Expected to be in the area for few subsequent years
• Interested in public speaking, stage performing, and/or sports
• Motivated child and family

Required process:

• Complete school application
• Complete scholarship application
• Foster parent/caretaker to write 2-3 paragraph explaining what they hope to get for the child and how the scholarship will help him/her.
• Child applicant above 2nd grade to write 1-2 paragraphs of what would they like to do when they grow up and what they wish out of the new school
• 1-2 recommendation letter (preferably from a teacher, but can be from family member, foster children's foundation or county mentor or case manager).
• Pictures or video of the candidate (optional)
