Becoming a member of Ascension Lutheran Church

Welcome! We are excited that you are interested in joining us. Our desire is to help you know Jesus Christ and his love for you, to discover the special fulfillment and joy Jesus has planned for you, to find your place in the Body of Christ, and to get to know Ascension Lutheran Church.

We ask each new member of Ascension to attend the New Member Orientation Talks. The series is offered several times during the year, and these topics are covered:

Understanding God’s Love

God’s Path into the Kingdom of Heaven

Growing in God’s Love

Experiencing God’s Word and Family – the Church

Classes are offered about 6 times a year, typically from noon until 2 PM on Sundays, and will be announced a few weeks in advance. For more information contact Pastor Tim.

Transferring to Ascension Lutheran Church

Church members who would like to transfer their membership to Ascension may do so by letter of transfer. We invite everyone, however, to attend the New Member Orientation talks if possible, to learn about the ministries and people at Ascension. Welcome!  For more information contact Pastor Tim.
