Seasonal Worship

Advent

Each Wednesday evening through advent, at 7 PM, we offer Taize services. From the Taize tradition of France, these services include rhythmic chants and silence. A break from the rush of the season to reconnect with the sacred waiting that is the advent season. Click here for Pastor Paul Gravrock’s announcement about Taize.

Cowboy Christmas service

December 17 at 6 PM — a new favorite service, thanks to Nancy Lee and Country Spirit, with western Christmas songs and readings.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we offer five services at 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 p.m.

The 3 and 5 p.m. services have a special emphasis for children.

The 7, 9 and 11 p.m. services are candlelight celebrations; music by our Chancel or Carillons choir at 7 and 9, and featured soloists and others at 11.

Holy Communion is served at the 11 p.m. service.

Christmas Day

Our Christmas Chorale service with communion is held at 9:30 a.m. Join the Delkeskamp family in this happy tradition.

Get more details of our Advent and Christmas activities in our Advent Gazette, here.

Lenten Worship

7 PM Wednesdays through Lent, we typically have Holden Evening Prayer services. These services consist of a pastor’s message and the shared singing of Marty Haugen’s beloved musical litany.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday services are held at 9 and 11 AM on Palm Sunday, and 6PM the evening prior.

Maundy Thursday

Our Maundy Thursday Services are held at 9 AM and 7 PM. Holy Communion is served at these services as we remember the meal that Jesus shared with his disciples, his washing of their feet and his giving the commandment to “love one another.”

Good Friday

Our Good Friday services are held at 11 AM and 7 PM as we commemorate the time Jesus died on the cross.

Easter – 6 PM Saturday; 7, 9 and 11 AM Sunday

This year, Ascension added an outdoor sunrise service at 7 AM in addition to our indoor Easter services: Saturday at 6 PM (country); and Sunday at 9 AM (traditional Easter Festival Service) and 11 AM (Easter service with contemporary music).
